How to read your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)

Your ANOC is a document your health plan sends each September to inform you on what’s different in your Medicare plan for the coming year. We want to help you better understand changes to your Medicare plan for 2026.

A step-by-step approach

Each year, Allina Health | Aetna Medicare members receive their ANOC. While it’s a big document, a little guidance can make it easy to follow. Here's what to look for:

Why do changes happen every year?

We need to balance health care costs and new government requirements while still offering you the best coverage we can. That sometimes requires adjustments to a plan.

We want you to have the best coverage for your health needs

Reviewing and understanding your ANOC is important. It can help you decide if your Allina Health | Aetna Medicare plan still meets your needs. After reviewing your ANOC, ask yourself:

Does your 2026 plan work for you and your health needs? You’re all set. Your plan will automatically renew on January 1, 2026.
